I'm a blender. I don't just use one modality, I pull from everything I've learned over the years and mix it based on what you need in the moment.
Here's what's in my toolkit and how each practice works.
What it is: A Japanese energy healing technique where I channel universal life force energy through my hands to support your body's natural healing.
What it feels like: Most people feel warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation. Some see colors or have emotional releases. Some fall asleep (which is perfect).
How I use it: Often combined with sound healing as part of a "Sacred Rest Experience" or when I'm closing my eyes and tuning in during a session. I may have you lie on a massage table while I move around you, hands hovering or lightly touching. I might use crystals, essential oils, or singing bowls.
Why it works: Energy healing helps release what's stuck physically, emotionally, energetically. It's deeply restful and often brings clarity or shifts you didn't expect.
My journey: Reiki was one of my first "woo" tools (first learned in 2015). It helped me get through my divorce and taught me how to work with energy. I'm a Reiki Master Teacher.
Chakra Balancing & Aura Clearing
What it is: Working with your energy centers (chakras) and the energy field around your body (aura) to clear blockages and restore flow.
How I use it: I check in with your chakras using a pendulum to see if they are open or blocked. If anything is stuck or heavy, we'll work to clear it using breath, sound, intention, or Reiki.
Why it works: When your energy is flowing freely, you feel more grounded, clear, and aligned.
Breathwork
What it is: A powerful breathing technique that helps you access altered states of consciousness and release stored emotions from your body.
What it feels like: Intense. Emotional. Liberating. You might cry, laugh, shake, feel tingling in your hands or face (totally normal). You might have visions or insights. You'll definitely feel different after.
How I use it: I guide you through a specific breathing pattern (usually lying down) for 20-45 minutes. I hold space while your body does the work. Music supports the journey.
Why it works: Breathwork bypasses your thinking mind and goes straight to your subconscious. It's one of the fastest ways to release trauma, grief, anger, or anything you've been holding onto.
My journey: I learned breathwork after yoga nidra and hypnotherapy. It was a missing piece... a way to help clients release what talking couldn't reach.
Breathe & Release Sessions
What it is: A one-off breathwork journey (part of my Sacred Series offerings). Come in, breathe, release, leave lighter.
Perfect for: When you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you need to "shake something loose."
Hypnotherapy & Subconscious Work
What it is: A guided process that helps you access your subconscious mind(the part of your brain that runs 95% of your life on autopilot).
What it's NOT: Stage hypnosis. Mind control. Being asleep or unconscious. You're fully aware the whole time.
How I use it: I guide you into a relaxed, focused state (like right before you fall asleep) and then we work with whatever comes up: old memories, limiting beliefs, patterns you want to release.
Why it works: Your subconscious holds every experience, every belief, every pattern. When we work directly with it, change happens faster.
My training: I became certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2017.
Timeline Work
What it is: A hypnotherapy/NLP technique where we go back to earlier versions of you (past experiences, younger ages) to heal wounds, release beliefs, or retrieve lost parts of yourself.
How I use it: I'll have you close your eyes, tune into your body, and identify your timeline. We'll work with it to find the origination of a belief, to look at your past, present, and/or future. Your subconscious will take you where we need to go to work on a memory that needs to be released or reframed.
Why it works: So many of our current patterns are rooted in past experiences. When we heal the root, the pattern shifts.
Yoga Nidra
What it is: "Yogic sleep" is a guided meditation that takes you into deep relaxation while keeping your awareness awake.
What it feels like: Like the most restful nap you've ever taken, except you're conscious the whole time. Deeply rejuvenating.
How I use it: Often combined with Reiki or sound healing in my "Sacred Rest Experience." You lie down, I guide you through body awareness and intention-setting, and you drift into a restorative state.
Why it works: It activates your parasympathetic nervous system (rest-and-digest), which is where healing happens. One hour of yoga nidra can feel like 4 hours of deep sleep.
My journey: I learned yoga nidra in 2021 and immediately recognized it as a complimentary piece to hypnotherapy. It's gentler, more accessible, and incredibly powerful.
Sound Healing
What it is: Using sound vibrations to shift your energetic state and support healing.
How I use it: I have a collection of crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, rain sticks, and other instruments. I'll play them around you while you're lying down (often during Reiki or yoga nidra).
Why it works: Sound literally moves through your body. Different frequencies affect different energy centers. The vibrations help release what's stuck and bring you into coherence.
What clients say: "I could feel the sound vibrations moving through my body. It was like a massage from the inside out."
Divination Tools (Tools, Not Crutches)
What it is: A 78-card deck used for self-reflection, clarity, and accessing intuitive wisdom.
What it's NOT: Fortune-telling. Predicting a fixed future. Magic.
How I use it: I partner with AI to create custom spreads based on your question. I pull cards using a pendulum to confirm each one. Then I interpret the reading with AI's help to see patterns and themes I might miss. You get a detailed written reading.
Why it works: Tarot bypasses your logical mind and speaks directly to your subconscious. The images and symbols unlock insights you already have but can't access through thinking alone.
My journey: I was terrified of tarot at first (thought it was "dark"). Then I learned it's just a tool for self-reflection. Now I use it regularly for myself and for clients.
What it is: A simpler, gentler version of tarot. Each deck has a theme (angels, animals, affirmations, etc.) and is meant for daily guidance.
How I use it: I pull an oracle card at the beginning and end of every session. I'll ask: "What do we need to know for our session today?" and "What do we need to know to wrap up today's session?" Then we explore what you see in the card.
Why it works: Oracle cards are less intimidating than tarot. They're a beautiful entry point for people new to divination.
My favorites: Colette Baron-Reid's decks (she's one of my early woo mentors). I have dozens of decks but only use a few regularly.
What it is: A weighted object on a string or chain that swings to give you yes/no answers.
How I use it: I teach clients to use a pendulum to practice trusting their intuition. I also use it to confirm tarot cards, verify information, or check in on energy.
Why it works: The pendulum amplifies the subtle muscle movements your body makes in response to questions. It's not magic. It's your subconscious communicating through your body.
The key: Learn to notice when you have an agenda. If you're too attached to a specific answer, the pendulum will reflect that. It's a tool for practicing neutrality and trust.
What it is: A lesser-known divination system I love for its direct, practical guidance.
How I use it: Similar to tarot... I pull cards, look for matches, interpret them, and write up a reading.
What it is: A set of symbols (not the Elder Futhark runes) cast to get an overarching theme or energy reading.
How I use it: Sometimes at the beginning of a reading to set the tone, or to get a quick "vibe check" on a situation.
Self-Knowledge Systems (Who You Are By Design)
What it is: A system that combines astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, and the chakra system to create your unique energetic blueprint.
What you get: Your Type (Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector, or Reflector), your Authority (how you make decisions), your Profile (your life path), and so much more.
How I use it: I use Human Design to help you understand how you're designed to work, make decisions, and show up in the world. It's been life-changing for me as a Projector. It gave me permission to stop hustling and start honoring my natural flow.
Why it works: When you understand your design, you stop trying to be someone you're not. You work WITH your energy instead of against it.
My journey: Human Design kept showing up in my life until I finally paid attention. Now it's a core part of how I understand myself and those I work with.
What it is: The study of numbers and their energetic significance in your life.
What I look at: Life Path number, Personal Year cycles, house numbers (yes, really), and more.
How I use it: To understand your natural gifts, challenges, and the cycles you're moving through. For example, I'm in a Personal Year 9 (endings) with a Universal Year 1 (new beginnings). That context helps me make sense of what's happening.
Why it works: Numerology reveals patterns. It helps you see where you are in the bigger cycle of your life.
Fun fact: I use numerology when house hunting. We're currently in a 5 house (change, transformation, dynamic energy) and looking to move into a house that offers more stability and harmony (4 or 6).
What it is: A system created by Richard Rudd that maps the journey from your Shadow (reactive patterns) to your Gift (your potential) to your Siddhi (your highest expression).
How I use it: To help you see where you're stuck in shadow and how to move into your gift.
What I look at: Sun, Moon, and Rising signs. I'm not a full astrologer, but I use these basics to add context.
What it is: A system based on a regular deck of playing cards. Each birthday has a corresponding card that reveals your life path, relationships, and more.
How I use it: As another layer of self-knowledge. I'm getting more into this system and love how it complements numerology and Human Design.
Somatic & Body-Based Practices
What it is: Tuning into physical sensations to identify where emotions or energy are stuck.
How I use it: I'll guide you to close your eyes and scan through your body. "Where do you feel that emotion? What does it look like? Does it have a color? A texture? A size?"
Why it works: Your body stores everything. When you bring awareness to it, you can release it.
What it is: Using your body as a yes/no compass. Stand up, ask your body to show you a "yes" (usually a forward lean), then ask for a "no" (usually a backward lean).
How I use it: To teach clients to trust their body's wisdom. Your body knows the answer before your brain does.
What it is: Literally shaking your body to discharge tension and stuck energy.
Why it works: Animals do this naturally after a stressful event. Humans have been taught to suppress it. Shaking helps complete the stress cycle.
Other Practices
What it is: A Hawaiian forgiveness practice. The mantra is: "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you."
How I use it: To help clients release resentment, forgive themselves or others, and let go of what they've been carrying.
Why it works: Forgiveness doesn't mean condoning what happened. It means releasing the emotional charge so you can move forward.
What it is: Tapping on specific acupressure points while focusing on an emotion or belief to release it.
How I use it: When something feels stuck and needs a physical intervention. Tapping is quick, effective, and you can do it yourself.
What it is: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, a trauma therapy technique that uses bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping) to process difficult memories.
How I use it: I incorporate EMDR techniques (like bilateral tapping or eye movements) to help clients process and release.
What it is: Plant-based oils used for aromatherapy and energy support.
How I use it: I'll often use oils during energy or breathwork sessions. Different oils support different intentions (grounding, releasing, opening, etc.).
The Bottom Line: Tools, Not Crutches
Every single practice I use is designed to help you trust yourself more, not become dependent on me or the tools.
At first, they might feel like crutches. That's okay. But over time, you'll notice:
You already know the answer before you pull the card
You feel the "yes" or "no" in your body before the pendulum moves
You can access that calm, centered state without needing a session
That's the goal. You trusting you.
